Job summary

Langan International, LLC is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Land Surveying in San Antonio, TX. You will support the Land Survey team with field data collection and CAD file preparation, gaining experience with progressive technologies while collaborating with experienced survey professionals.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and develop skills in boundary, topographic, utility, and architectural surveys, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering Technology, Survey, or Civil Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the survey crew in collecting site and utility information.
• Gain exposure to drone and scanning technologies.
• Prepare technical reports, survey plans, and layout plans for projects such as utility construction, roads and site improvements.
• Perform construction layout.
• Assist with CAD drafting, data downloads, deed and map research, and filing.
• Maintain survey equipment and initiate repairs when necessary.
• Stay current on surveying practices and attend internal training.
• Perform other duties as requested.
