Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op - Land Surveying to join its collaborative team in Princeton, NJ. This role supports the Land Survey team in collecting field data and preparing survey maps and CAD files, with exposure to progressive technologies and collaboration with experienced professionals.

You will gain hands-on experience with surveying tools, CAD, and field data collection while interacting with technical specialists from other disciplines. Travel may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering Technology, Survey, or Civil Engineering.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical and judgment abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support survey crew in collection of site and utility information.
• Gain exposure to drone and scanning technologies.
• Prepare technical reports, survey plans and layout plans.
• Perform construction layout.
• Assist with CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing.
• Maintain survey equipment and initiate repairs as needed.
• Stay current on surveying practices and attend internal training.
• Perform other duties as requested.
