Job summary

Wabash Valley Power Alliance in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Supervisor of Land Services to lead land acquisition for substation construction, line projects, and related real estate needs. The role supervises staff, coordinates with Engineering and Legal, and advances WVPA projects to support members.

Ideal candidates will have a four-year degree and at least five years in land acquisition, with utility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years progressive experience in land acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Lead the land acquisition department and manage roles & responsibilities.
• Secure easements for transmission line construction, replacement and rebuild projects.
• Acquire land for substations and other WVPA business needs.
• Manage subcontractors and contracts; oversee lifecycle of projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Legal to secure land and rights for WVPA and Members.
