Job summary

The Niello Company is seeking a Shop Assistant to support daily shop operations, pull parts, assist technicians, and help maintain a clean, organized work environment. This role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), a valid driver's license, and basic technology skills. The position may require lifting, standing, and occasional outdoor duties as part of the daily routine.

• Locate special tools when needed.
• Manage special tools / tool room.
• Assist techs when needed.

• Maintain equipment.
• Empty waste oil, ATF, & coolant drums.
• Clean shop.
• Empty trash.
• Remove tires from shop and place in scrap tire area.
• Separate recyclable metals & take to metal recycling area.
• Shuttle customer when necessary.
• Assist porters when needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Compensation Range By Position

The expected pay for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
