Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Land Management Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert for licenses and leases, clearing right-of-ways of encroachments, and acquiring land rights for projects and facilities. The role emphasizes accurate records, field visits, and routine reporting to support safe, reliable energy delivery.

The position is hybrid with California residency required and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience performing right of way or real property transactions and real estate acquisitions.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering plans is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining accurate records of existing land rights, easements, and property information within the land management database.
• Prepares basic land agreements, forms, and general correspondence related to existing property use using established templates.
• Conducts basic research on current property records, gathers data related to current land use, and assists with initial field visits to document site conditions within existing corridors.
• Supports the preparation of routine reports and presentations.
• Monitors for and reports minor, clearly identifiable encroachments or simple compliance issues on company property.
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its assets and properly accessing and managing sensitive information.
