Job summary

Burns & McDonnell's Environmental Planning team in Greenville, SC seeks a Staff Acquisition Specialist to manage landowner outreach, rights acquisition, and access coordination for survey and construction activities.

The role negotiates routine agreements, coordinates access with landowners and crews, and maintains records while traveling to project sites as required. This is a full-time on-site position with potential regional travel and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

Experience negotiating land-rights agreements or working with property owners.
Proficient in common software and strong communication skills.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

Conduct direct landowner outreach to explain project scope, access needs, and schedules.
Negotiate routine right of way, easement, license, and temporary construction access agreements.
Coordinate survey and construction access with landowners, survey crews, and construction teams.
Execute land rights agreements and ensure proper signatures, distribution, and recordkeeping.
Maintain accurate land rights tracking logs and contact records.
