Job description

Land / Division Order / Accounting Technician

Blue Cedar Energy, LLC (“BCE”) is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team. This role reports directly to the VP of Accounting and collaborates with the Accounting, Land, Engineering, and Geology departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in Oil & Gas Accounting – Accounts Payable, Joint Interest Billing, Revenue
• Division Orders – Owner Transfers and Deck Reconciliations
• Oil & Gas Tech – Land or Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Accounting – AP/JIB/REV
• Review and code invoices
• Assist with JIB invoice and REV statement distribution
• Identify and resolve JIB/REV discrepancies

• Assist in Land – Division Orders/Owner Relations
• Review and process owner transfers
• Manage owner inquiries – mineral and working interest owners
• Prepare and distribute division orders
• Maintain land records

• Assist in Engineering and Geology (as needed)
• Data reports
• Production reports
• Project management

Salary depends on experience and skill set. This is a full-time position with benefits including 401K contributions and paid vacation.
