Metric Geo in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects across West Texas.

You will manage consultants, contractors, schedules, budgets, and milestones to deliver high-quality communities from concept through completion, with on-site work in the Lubbock area and a focus on entitlements, infrastructure, and site development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage land development projects from due diligence and entitlement through construction completion.
  • Coordinate civil engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, municipalities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, development timelines, and critical milestones.
  • Oversee site development activities including infrastructure, utilities, roadways, and horizontal construction.
  • Review plans, engineering documents, scopes of work, bids, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with municipalities, utility providers, and regulatory agencies throughout the development process.
  • Track project costs, contracts, invoices, change orders, and financial reporting.
  • Identify project challenges and proactively develop solutions to avoid delays and cost impacts.
  • Support feasibility analysis, due diligence, and planning for future development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication throughout each phase.
  • Help deliver thoughtfully designed communities that create lasting value.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in land development, real estate development, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of entitlement processes, civil engineering coordination, and horizontal construction.
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and construction sequencing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with project management, construction management, or development software preferred.
  • Ability to work on‑site in the Lubbock, TX area.
