Urban Ltd in the Washington DC metropolitan area is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer with 4+ years of site design experience in Northern Virginia. The successful candidate will work from our Chantilly, VA office, in-office five days a week.

This role is not construction-focused and emphasizes civil design, plans, and coordination with engineers and architects. Responsibilities include CAD drafting for site and subdivision plans, site layout, utility design, road design, erosion

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to make well-informed design decisions based on civil engineering concepts and locality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft CAD drawings and details for site and subdivision plans.
• Site layout and utility design.
• Horizontal and vertical design of roadways.
• Preparation of erosion and sediment control plans.
• Generating hydrologic computations for SWM facilities.
• Preparing site work quantity take-offs.
• Coordination with internal and external engineers, architects, etc.
