Detroit engineering firm is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer for their growing office!

Responsibilities:

• Lead project team in preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Prepare engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports.
• Evaluate land use/zoning requirements.
• Prepare permit applications, work through agency review processes, and obtain approvals.
• Site visits during construction phase.
• Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
• Mentor/train junior staff.

Requirements:

• Must be an engineer or designer with experience in land development projects, sustainable design, utility design, and stormwater management design.
• 3+ years of design experience on land development projects.
• Experience with K-12 site design.
• Familiarity with zoning ordinances/site plan approval processes.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and Office 360 products.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
