VHB's Winooski, VT office is seeking a Land Development Intern to join our team. Interns will work on civil engineering projects and will learn technical skills and computational software.

Responsibilities include interacting with staff, clients and consultants to advance projects, performing engineering calculations, and contributing to preliminary and final design plans, documents and estimates. • Pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB’s Winooski, VT office is seeking a Land Development Intern to join our team. Interns will work on civil engineering projects and will learn technical skills and computational software.

Responsibilities

• Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner
• Engineering calculations
• Preliminary and final design plans
• Contract documents including specifications
• Engineer’s estimates
• Preparing construction documents

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Team oriented with strong capability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing undergraduate or masters degree in Civil Engineering

The hourly pay range for this position, located in Vermont, is $19 to $30. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted hourly range reflects base pay only. Additional compensation and benefits available to eligible employees are outlined in our Total Rewards Program.
