Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 8–15 years of civil engineering experience, preferably with a design firm or construction-related work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist Project Managers in construction admin responsibilities of all assigned projects throughout the entire course of construction (pre-con thru closeout).
• Coordinate with Clients, Contractors, and government agencies to provide solutions to field issues, review change orders and pay apps, evaluate as-builts, and coordinate project closeout.
• Facilitate Project Managers have regular access to suggested solutions to problem solving and troubleshooting issues arising in the field.
• Review proposals/contracts (scope of work, establish appropriate fees and evaluate risks for projects and assess company liability related to contract terms and conditions).
• Monitor project tracking worksheets to manage current workloads and performance status of all assigned projects across the civil project team.
• Assign projects to Project Managers on the team based on resources and workload capacity.
• Review all team invoices for client billing.
• Assist project managers with due diligence research on assigned projects, identifying potential risk factors.

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college/university required
• 8-15 years’ experience, previous Civil Engineering with a Civil Engineering design firm or construction related experience highly desirable
