Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a civil engineering designer to contribute to residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will design site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, prepare grading analyses, and assist with final construction drawings.

You will collaborate with team members, support due diligence reports, participate in client meetings, and help with business development as needed. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience with site design and civil engineering principles (grading, earthwork, stormwater) preferred.
• Ability to communicate with clients and attend meetings.

Responsibilities

• Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepares and computes due diligence/site analysis reports and earthwork analysis.
• Assists in production of final construction drawings and permit applications.
• Assists project managers and client communication per project.
• Works with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects and attends client/public meetings.
• Participates in business development as requested.
