Job summary

NV5, a leading provider of engineering and consulting services, is seeking a Civil Engineer for its Land Development group in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on design of civil land development projects for commercial and multi-family residential sites.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD Civil 3D and site development experience, with growth potential toward Project Engineer/Project Manager. We support career development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification is a plus. If not currently held will be required within 6 months of hire.
• 0-3 years of relevant land development experience with site grading, utilities, stormwater design from the conceptual stage through final design.
• Site civil design, permitting, and applicable software including hydrology modeling programs is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design of civil land development projects.
• Site planning and stormwater calculations.
• Inspect construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering specifications.

Education

BS Degree in Civil Engineering

EIT certificate (preferred, within 6 months of hire)
