Job summary

ESP Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Land Development CAD Drafter to join its civil team in Midland, Texas.

This position offers engagement across residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial civil projects with the potential to take on additional design responsibilities after mastering our design standards. You will prepare civil sketches, construction drawings, and detailed plans, supporting a range of project types and collaborating closely with engineers on civil and land development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related drafting experience preferred.
• Land development experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
• Carlson software knowledge is a plus.
• Technical school degree and/or civil engineering-related drafting coursework.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to complete projects within established deadlines.
• Motivated to learn and contribute to a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil sketches, construction drawings, and detailed plans.
• Support residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial projects.
• Develop drawings for grading, paving, stormwater management, utilities, zoning, and infrastructure improvements.
• Read, interpret, and draft plans, profiles, cross sections, and details.
• Collaborate closely with engineers on civil and land development projects.
• Work toward taking on additional design responsibilities as your experience grows.
