OWN, Inc. seeks an Associate Engineer to help bring projects to life, creating spaces and infrastructure that support the growth of communities where we live and work in Arkansas.

You will work with engineers, designers, and project teams from initial design through construction to develop practical solutions so ideas become reality. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to design land development projects, perform calculations, prepare plans and reports, and assist with permitting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or equivalent, including successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Experience with or willingness to learn civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to design land development projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility systems.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to develop practical, accurate, and cost-effective design solutions.
• Prepare construction plans, technical reports, cost estimates, and supporting project documentation.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with reviewing agencies.
• Support projects through construction, helping resolve design challenges and keep projects moving forward.

What you\’ll be doing:

You\'ll help turn land development ideas into reality, working alongside experienced engineers and project teams to create spaces where communities can grow. Along the way, you\'ll:

What we\’re looking for:
