About the Role

The Raytheon Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Finance team seeks a Program Cost Controls Analyst (Grade P2) to support the Land Warfare and Air Defense (LWAD) Mission Area, based out of West Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) including costs, risks, and opportunities at the Program / Mission Area level.
• Perform detailed financial analysis of program and mission area cost elements to understand variances to budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances.
• Assist in developing cost estimates for new business proposals and provide rationale for estimates.
• Collaborate with functional teams during EAC development and monitor performance against budgets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of finance experience or an advanced degree with 0-2+ years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• U.S. Citizenship required to access US Data Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EVMS reporting, APEX/PRISM systems.
• Experience with SAP R/3 systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial planning systems like RPlan.
• Defense contracting finance experience.
• Willingness to take on new challenges.
