Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Land Administration Manager to join our Oklahoma City office. This is an on-site position responsible for overseeing the land administration function of a growing upstream oil and gas company.

The Land Administration Manager will lead the setup, maintenance, and integrity of all land agreements and records within the company’s land management systems. This includes leases, assignments, pooling and unit agreements, title documentation, surface use agreements (SUAs), rights-of-way (ROWs), and other contractual instruments.

Responsibilities include abstracting and interpreting lease provisions, tracking contractual obligations and expirations, ensuring accurate calendaring of rentals and payments, coordinating county recordings, and maintaining organized digital documentation. The role will support drilling programs, development planning, and acquisition and divestiture due diligence efforts by ensuring accurate and accessible land data.

Additional duties include collaborating with Land, GIS, Accounting, Operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment across systems, supporting partner balloting processes, assisting with AFE documentation as needed, and developing scalable workflows to support company growth.

This position is ideal for an experienced land professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is comfortable building structure within a scaling organization.

Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of oil and gas leases, assignments, pooling agreements, title opinions, and surface agreements
  • Experience abstracting lease provisions and tracking contractual obligations
  • Proficiency with land management systems (Quorum, Enverus, LandVantage, or similar platforms preferred)
  • Familiarity with Oklahoma and Mid-Continent land practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Land, GIS, Accounting, and Operations teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, PLM, Business, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of upstream land administration experience preferred
