AMiche Talent Connect LLC partners with a growing land development firm in Texas to fill a Land Acquisition Manager role. You will identify new opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and lead deals from initial contact through closing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or a closely related field.
• A true self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.
• An experienced land acquisition professional who understands the market and is eager to continue learning.
• A persuasive relationship builder who can create opportunities where others may not see them.
• A skilled negotiator and dealmaker with strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Source residential land opportunities throughout Houston and other major Texas markets, with a strong focus on relationship-driven and privately sourced opportunities.
• Build relationships from the ground up with landowners, brokers, builders, consultants, and other industry partners.
• Turn “not interested” into “let’s talk” through persistence, credibility, and a consultative approach.
• Manage opportunities from initial evaluation through negotiations, due diligence, approvals, and closing.
• Evaluate deal economics, market potential, development considerations, and risk.
• Develop creative solutions and transaction structures to move promising opportunities forward.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, engineering, development, and external partners.
• Provide clear updates and recommendations while keeping deals progressing.
• Maintain an active presence within the land development and homebuilding community.
