RogueSearch is assisting a Fortune 500 national homebuilder to recruit a Real Estate Development/ Land Acquisition leader for NE Ohio. This role sources, underwrites, and closes land deals while coordinating with internal design and development teams to ensure project success.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in development or land acquisition, a college degree, and a track record of building relationships with landowners, brokers, lenders, and municipalities.

Competenze

• 3+ years of real estate development or land acquisition experience.
• College Degree.
• Experience working with landowners, brokers, title companies, lenders, municipalities, engineers, other homebuilders, and lot developers.
• Led underwriting iterations of development projects from start to finish.
• Salesmanship and ability to develop business relationships.
• Experience with market research tools and GIS mapping applications and Google Earth.
• Working knowledge of OH zoning, land use practices, development standards, and utility solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to read and interpret lot plans.

What you'll do:

• Find land for future new home communities around Cleveland.
• More specifically - source, find, place under contract, receive governmental approval and close on new land that meets the division's needs - both raw land and finished lots - across assigned territory in NE Ohio.

Requirements

• 3+ years of real estate development and/or land acquisition experience
• College Degree
• Experience working with landowners, land brokers, title companies, lenders, municipalities, engineers, other homebuilders, and lot developers is highly preferred.
• Have led numerous iterations of underwriting a potential development project from start to finish.
• Salesmanship and successful experience developing business relationships.
• Experienced in the use of market research tools and knowledge of GIS mapping applications and Google Earth.
• Working knowledge of OH zoning and land use practices, development standards, and utility solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel Ability to read and interpret lot plans, plat plans
