Land Acquisition Lead – Utility-Scale Renewables (Oregon & Washington)

12+ month contract | Starts July/August 2025 | Western U.S. (remote with travel)

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an experienced land acquisition professional to help secure land for utility-scale solar, standalone storage, and wind projects across Oregon and Washington. You’ll collaborate with our Development Project Manager to lead landowner outreach and support negotiations for site control agreements. This role plays a key part in shaping Clearway’s next generation of renewable energy projects in the Pacific Northwest.

We’re looking for more than someone to execute tasks — we’re looking for a strategic partner. In this role, you’ll offer site control strategies, advise on option agreement pricing, guide negotiation approaches, and more. Your expertise will be critical to advancing Clearway’s projects.

What We Require:

• Extensive renewables experience: You’ve secured 50,000+ acres across at least (20) utility-scale solar, wind, and/or BESS projects.
• Regional knowledge: You have experience with multiple projects in Oregon and Washington and understand the best ways to approach landowners in these areas.
• Hands-on approach: You enjoy relationship-building and negotiation work on the ground — this is a direct engagement role, not focused on management or coordination.
• Western U.S.-based: You can live anywhere in the Western U.S., but must be willing to travel for in-person landowner meetings in WA/OR.
