Responsibilities

LAN & WAN design is limited to the following, as applicable:

• Physical connectivity
• Spanning-tree
• IP addressing
• VLAN schema
• Routing protocol
• HSRP/GLBP
• QoS (existing Client configuration standard)
• Network management requirements
• Security requirements

Nexus switch design is limited to the following, as applicable:

• Virtual device context (Nexus 7000 only)
• VRFs (Nexus 7000 only)
• Virtual port channel (VPC)
• VLAN
• QoS (existing Client configuration standard)
• HSRP/GLBP
• Routing (EIGRP, RIP, IGRP and BGP)
