Giro Pack, Inc. is hiring two Laminator Operators for our Vidalia, GA facility. After an initial training week, you’ll work second or third shift Monday–Friday.

You’ll be responsible for safe operation of lamination machines used in fruit/vegetable packaging and for maintaining production documentation. The role requires standing for long periods, good vision, and the ability to manage fast-paced production while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety rules and procedures.

• Very good vision for intricate, detail-oriented work.

Responsibilities

• Operate lamination machines safely and efficiently; report issues to supervisor/maintenance.
• Complete required production forms and follow planning orders.
• Lube/maintain production machinery as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow inspection procedures.
• Change/replace film bobbins and verify material/glue application.
• Support other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Giro Pack, Inc. is currently hiring for two (2) Laminator Operators to support production operations at our Vidalia, GA. location. Currently the selected candidates will be trained Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, once training is completed the candidates will work 2nd shift, Monday - Friday (2:00pm -10pm) or 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday (10pm - 6am).

The Laminator Operator plays an integral part in the manufacturing of products within the fruit/vegetable packaging industry and is responsible for the safe/efficient operation of the lamination machines.

Laminator Operator job duties include:

• Ensuring lamination machines are operated correctly and report any shortcomings to the supervisor/maintenance in a timely manner
• Complete required production forms
• Maintain/Lube production machinery as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow inspection procedures
• Change and/or replace film bobbins
• Verify stability of material as well as proper glue application
• Follow planning order and work priorities
• Clean machines according to procedures
• Report SAP or IT shortcomings immediately
• Conduct other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements and skills:
