Job summary

Kronospan in Anniston, AL is seeking a Lamination Operator to safely run the Laminating Press and related equipment on the production line. You will perform routine maintenance and cleaning, monitor machine performance, and operate the computer interfaces used to control the laminating process.

The role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and a proactive approach to quality and uptime. Teamwork, reliability, and willingness to work overtime, including some weekends, are essential

Qualifications

Must be able to operate a forklift.
Willing to work overtime including some weekends.
Able to work effectively with the facility team.
Able to work without constant supervision.
Able to multi-task and creatively problem solve.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Able to diagnose machine problems and report to maintenance.
Able to perform basic, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Able to work at heights using a man-lift or scissor lift.
Able to read and understand complex written instructions.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate Laminating Press and related equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and workspace.
Understand and manipulate computer software related to lamination operations.
Identify conditions leading to substandard quality or downtime and initiate corrective actions.
Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance to support continuous production on the line.
