Job summary

ABB is seeking an Auto Punch Press Operator- Grade 18 (2nd Shift) for its NEMA Motors division in the Missouri area. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating lamination presses with strict adherence to safety procedures.

You will be trained on all steps of the job, wear PPE, and follow blueprints and work orders to ensure quality output. The position is onsite with an hourly pay range of $22.70–$28.59, plus shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential functions for 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
• Must follow PPE protocols and safety guidelines.
• Must read work orders, blueprints, and labels to match parts to drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate lamination auto press and perform lamination tasks per order.
• Inspect parts for burrs, chips, and defects before and after pressing.
• Ensure lubrication and proper machine setup; monitor safety stops and light curtains.
• Fill out Red Tag for non-con material and report any injuries or near misses.
• Maintain safe working area and report hazards to supervisor.
