Qualifications

• Previous 1 year in a customer service role is preferred.
• Experience in sports or live events is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Los Angeles Lakers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work 41 regular season home games, plus preseason/postseason when applicable.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the Lakers Organization.
• Select fans for contests and manage waivers.
• Facilitate on-court activity, contests and fan engagement elements.
• Collaborate with Game Entertainment Manager and Stage Manager for activations.
• Fulfill contestant prizing as directed by Global Partnerships.
• Maintain a clean, organized entertainment tunnel.
• Support larger department projects and assist fans to create an electric atmosphere.

Job Title: Lakers Game Experience Crew

Department: Game Entertainment

Reports to: Director, Entertainment Teams

Position Summary: We are looking for passionate, energetic, and athletic individuals to join our Lakers game experience crew. Crew members will gain valuable hands-on skills while working closely with the game entertainment department to help create an unforgettable atmosphere for fans at every home game. The Lakers play all their home games at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This is a part-time seasonal position for the 2026-2027 NBA Season.

Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities**)

• Work each of the 41 regular season home games for the Los Angeles Lakers, as scheduled, as well as all preseason and postseason home games, when applicable
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the Los Angeles Lakers Organization
• Select fans to participate in various contests taking place throughout the game, and manage the execution of all necessary waivers
• Facilitate on-court activity, contests and fan engagement elements
• Work closely with the Game Entertainment Manager and Stage Manager to ensure a smooth activation of entertainment programming
• Handle the fulfillment of contestant prizing, as outlined by the Global Partnerships department
• Maintain a clean and organized entertainment tunnel
• Provide additional support with larger department projects, as needed
• Interact with fans to help build an electric atmosphere

**Responsibilities subject to change based on organizational needs and direction from management.

Previous Experience:

• Preferred 1 year in a customer service role
• Experience in sports or live events

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Comfortable performing basic basketball skills, such as rebounding and passing
• Strong organization and attention to detail

• Exude an outgoing, energetic personality
• Able to take direction in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to upholding policies and procedures, as set by the organization
• Knowledge of the Los Angeles Lakers

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and be able to run on/off court in short amount of time

Hours: Must be available to work all preseason, regular season, and post season home games – as required and scheduled – including nights, weekends, and holidays

The pay for this role is $20.00/hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications.
