Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Lakehouse Engineer to design scalable data architectures on the Databricks Lakehouse platform. You will bridge raw data sources and actionable insights, ensuring governance and high performance across the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities include building production-grade data pipelines with PySpark, SQL, Python, and enabling Unity Catalog governance while optimizing Delta Lake for cost-efficient storage. Remote work from the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on Lakehouse architectures.
• Proven expertise in building scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Deep understanding of the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and Delta Lake.
• Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and access control.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for complex data transformations and analysis.
