Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Data Architect to design and oversee enterprise-scale data architectures, governance, and platform strategies. You will bridge business goals with technical execution to ensure a scalable, secure, high-performing data ecosystem.

Responsibilities include governing data architectures across Snowflake, Databricks, and Synapse, and driving long-term data roadmaps. Remote work from anywhere with competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Engineering, or a related senior role.
• Expertise designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse.
• Advanced data modeling knowledge: Dimensional Modeling and Data Vault.
• Strong background in data governance frameworks and platform-wide data strategies.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Excellent English communication skills.
