Job summary

Dielectric Manufacturing in Lake Mills, IA, is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate milling machines, lathes, routers, and saws to produce precision components per print. You will read blueprints and inspect parts to tight tolerances, maintaining setup sheets and program files for repeatability.

You will support continuous improvement in tooling and fixtures, perform routine machine maintenance, and work in a regulated environment with a focus on quality and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC milling experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (ISO 9001).
  • Comfort with fixture design and setup optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components per prints and specs.
  • Make adjustments to cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to inspect parts and ensure tolerances.
  • Maintain setup sheets, program files, and inspection records for repeatability.
  • Support continuous improvement in machining processes, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
