Sentinel Health Services is a provider of government-outsourced occupational health and disability examination services. We seek a PM&R physician to perform Compensation and Pension exams for Veterans with a flexible schedule at Lafayette-area facilities.

Requirements include MD/DO, Board Certification in PM&R, and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Malpractice and liability insurance must be in place; exams occur at approved sites with provided equipment.

• Own office with commercial liability and malpractice coverage.

We are looking for candidates that live within a 50-mile radius of this jobs' location.

We may make exceptions for jobs located in Montana and Oregon.

Contract Position to do Compensation, Pension and Disability Examinations

Requirements

• Must have your own OFFICE.
• Your Office Must be at a Commercial Location (Not Home Based)
• Must have Your Own Malpractice Insurance (Where You are the Named Insured)
• Must have Commercial Liability Insurance for Your Practice Location
• Must have 2 years of Clinical Experience
• Board Certification in PM&R

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD / ( Physiatrists ) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Psychologist.
• Design your own schedule (7 days a week, weekends encouraged). Availability of at least 3 to 7 days a month is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Conducting a C&P Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Residuals examination.
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim.
• All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.
• If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.
