Qualifications

Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
CPR certification required and must comply with training per state laws.
Preferred: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient laundry.
Provide medication reminders.
Ensure patient safety.
Report significant changes to supervisor.
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
Monitor and record patient temperature.
Assist ambulation and ROM exercises.
Maintain documentation and follow care protocols.
Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
Assist with bathing.
Light housekeeping.
Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Lafayette Caregivers. As a Lafayette Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient laundry when necessary
Provide medication reminders
Ensure patient safety
Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
Monitor and record patient temperature
Assist patients with ambulationConduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
