Job summary

Partners Behavioral Healthcare in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a LADC Intern to work in our outpatient SUD program during the spring semester, starting January 2027. The Intern works alongside a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to provide addiction treatment services in a clinical setting.

Interns gain hands-on experience across core functions including screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and referrals under

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of MNDHS Background Study.
• Enrolled in an ADC education program and earning a minimum of 9 semester credits per calendar year toward the completion of an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree requirements.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Act as LADC intern in outpatient SUD program under supervision.
• Assist the LADC in providing daily care for clients and coordinating clinical services.
• Learn and apply core functions including screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and referrals.
• Participate in weekly clinical reviews and coordinate with the Program Manager or Treatment Director.
