Job summary

Providence Health & Services seeks a per diem breastfeeding support nurse for Kadlec Medical Center in the Tri-Cities area. You will encourage and support breastfeeding for inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients, and staff under the Unit Manager while keeping care aligned with current guidelines.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active Washington RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of breastfeeding-focused nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year recent nursing experience with emphasis on breast-feeding.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support breast feeding for Kadlec Medical Center families (inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients, employees).
• Update nursing staff and physicians on current breastfeeding information.
