Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a qualified nurse to coordinate breastfeeding education for patients and staff at Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This role focuses on supporting breastfeeding initiation and continuation within obstetric care.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of nursing experience, NV RN licensure, and IBCLC/CLC or ability to obtain, plus BLS/NRP certification. This position offers professional growth within a major health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, at least one year in obstetric setting with focus on the breast-feeding process.
• Current Nevada RN license required; IBCLC/CLC or ability to obtain required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.

• Education:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Experience:Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, at least one year in obstetric setting with focus on the breast-feeding process required.
• Technical Skills:Demonstrate a working knowledge of the current Nevada State Board of Nursing Practice.
• License/Certification:Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada is required. Association with professional nursing associations related to practice. Current IBCLS/IBCLC or CLC certification is required. Current BLS and NRP required.
