Job Overview

High school Heritage Lacrosse assistant coaching position. Season runs from February to May in Spring.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
• Collaborate with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
• Perform duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the sports program.
• Suggest disciplinary actions regarding players violating rules and procedures.
• Foster sportsmanship, pride, and a winning attitude among athletes.
• Perform other duties as requested by the high school principal and/or athletic director.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in lacrosse at high school or college levels.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in such courses.
• Experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools is preferred.
• Virginia Teaching License or full-time classified employee status preferred.
