Job Overview

High school Potomac Falls, Lacrosse assistant coaching position. Season runs Spring, February - May.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
2. Collaborate with the athletic department.
3. Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
4. Perform duties assigned by the head athletic coach.
5. Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the sports program.
6. Suggest disciplinary actions for players violating rules and procedures.
7. Foster sportsmanship, pride, and community spirit among athletes.
8. Perform other duties as requested by the principal and/or athletic director.

Qualifications

1. Coaching experience or participation in high school or college-level sport.
2. Completion or enrollment in CPR and First Aid training.
3. Preferred: experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
4. Preferred: Virginia Teaching License or full-time classified employee status in Loudoun County Public Schools.
