Job summary

Minuteman High School in Lexington, MA is seeking an Assistant Lacrosse Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support the head coach in practices, games, and team activities, promoting teamwork, school pride and skill development.

You will develop plays, coordinate schedules, mentor athletes, and liaise with other coaches while ensuring safety and compliance. This is a stipend, after-school position for the 2026-27 year.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lacrosse player or coach.
• Strong knowledge of Lacrosse techniques and plays.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals.
• Organizational and management skills, including scheduling and planning practices/events.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations for Lacrosse activities.
• Dedication to promoting a positive team spirit and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Lacrosse plays and techniques.
• Coordinate the team's practice schedule and attend all practices and games.
• Prepare the team for games and liaise with other coaches.
• Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive team environment.
• Mentor and motivate athletes, providing guidance and feedback.
• Coordinate with school administration on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with parents and coordinate team events and fundraising.
