In accordance with education-based athletics, Head Coaches will develop an effective coaching program plan which includes skill development, practice planning, supervision of all levels of the sport, focusing on individual and team growth while instilling the highest ideals of character. The head coach will effectively communicate with student-athletes, parents, and administration.
Terms of Employment: 12-month

Teachers or certificated professional educators employed by the local Board of Education, certifiable as professional educators by the State Department of Education according to 13A.12.01. Credentialed coaches must meet the following:
This position requires mobility to visit various locations, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are necessary. Frequent sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing are also required.
