Description

LAC Federal is seeking Records Management Specialists (RMS) Level II to provide essential technical support for a federal agency in the Dallas, TX area. This position plays a critical role in assisting the implementation of records management practices across multiple formats and platforms. The role requires experience in records management, excellent customer service skills, and using automated information systems. The RMS Level II operates under the supervision of a Records Information Manager and does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update records center content versatile tracking system
  • Perform various duties to create, update, and manage electronic records
  • Process records in accordance with detailed records and program file plans
  • Ensure the confidentiality of Business Information
  • Maintain accurate documentation about records center activities
  • Provides customer support in a service bureau environment.
  • Demonstrate understanding of basic records concepts, organization and the ability to follow processes.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Experience in records or data management required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Demonstrated experience with training delivery and module development
  • Familiarity with electronic records concepts and systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation capabilities
