Primary Responsibility / Summary

Assist drivers with loading and unloading goods. Perform various material handling tasks to support departmental efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading bins.
• Create soft and hard goods bins for drivers.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers (donations, salvage, trash, etc.).
• Segregate soft goods, hard goods, and trash.
• Ensure correct marking of all items (donations, commodities, salvage, etc.).
• Sort recyclables into proper containers (metal, plastic, cardboard, etc.).
• Build and palletize empty gaylords for commodities, ensuring support for heavier items.
• Operate equipment (auger, compactor, baler, etc.) following safety guidelines.
• Use material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, including clearing tables of trash and commodities.
• Maintain a safe environment through cleaning and organization.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs.
