Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks an experienced ATE Engineer to lead test system software and hardware efforts in Hauppauge, NY. You will design, upgrade, and maintain PXI-based test equipment, integrate 3rd party hardware, and develop LabVIEW applications for production testing.

The role requires 10+ years in the field, strong NI PXI/PCI knowledge, and familiarity with MIL-STD environments. US citizenship and ITAR compliance are essential; hybrid collaboration with engineering teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years overall experience in test system software & test hardware development.
• Strong knowledge in NI PXI, PCI hardware; integrate 3rd party hardware.
• Experience in development/upgrading automated test equipment for MIL/Aerospace programs.
• Expertise in automated testing equipment for production testing of mixed-signal products including MIL-STD-810/461, embedded MCUs and FPGAs.
• Experience with RS422/RS232, ARINC, TCP/IP & Ethernet and related protocols.
• Experience with software code repositories and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, RTCA/DO-160 and IPC-610.
• US Citizen; able to handle ITAR data.
