nLIGHT, based in Camas, Washington, is seeking a LabVIEW developer/CIM Engineer to enhance and support applications for high-power laser manufacturing. The position focuses on collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable software and provide hands-on support for the production line.
A successful candidate will have at least 1 year of LabVIEW programming experience and a relevant degree. Competitive compensation includes a salary between $85,000 and $135,000 depending on the level, along with comprehensive benefits.

As a LabVIEW developer/CIM Engineer, you will create, enhance, and support LabVIEW applications that control manufacturing and test equipment and capture production data for high‑power laser builds. You collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT to turn requirements into reliable, well‑documented software that follows design standards and change‑control processes. You also provide hands‑on support for the manufacturing line, including occasional after‑hours remote troubleshooting. This role is based primarily in Camas, WA, with occasional work in Vancouver, WA and potential for some remote work, and reports to the IT Software Manager.
