Job summary

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Labourer on behalf of a well-established specialist engineering and industrial services company based in Stockton. This hands-on role involves supporting site operations both on-site and with occasional travel to customer locations.

You will carry out general labouring duties, assist with deliveries, handle materials, and help maintain a safe, tidy site. A valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Max 3 penalty points.
• Eligibility to drive company vehicles (drivers must be 25+).
• Experience in labouring or site-based role.
• Good health and safety awareness.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to work across sites.
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, hardworking with excellent timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general labouring duties to support site operations.
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Performing manual handling tasks in line with health and safety procedures.
• Removing waste materials and keeping work areas free from hazards.
• Assisting with deliveries and distributing materials around site.
• Collecting samples from customer sites, including occasional travel to Glasgow.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Supporting different departments and adapting to a variety of tasks as required.
