Job summary

Effectief Altruisme is seeking a strategic Investment/Portfolio Associate to identify founders building staffing and recruitment platforms across Africa and to structure deals that unlock growth. You will evaluate opportunities, coordinate due diligence, and support companies from inception to scale.

You will also map market corridors by talking with recruiters, employers, and operators, helping direct funding toward high-impact regions while aligning social impact with commercial potential.

Responsibilities

• Find and convince founders to build staffing and recruitment companies; assess investments and structure deals.
• Support portfolio companies from inception through scaling, including sourcing workers and connecting employers across regions.
• Map market opportunities by speaking with recruiters, employers, and operators to identify high-impact corridors and sectors.
