Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. in Gainesville, FL is seeking experienced Laborers to work on our project in Gainesville. Pay ranges from $21-$25/hr based on experience. Local hires only.

As a Laborer, you will contribute to our team by piping knowledge for installing above ground to underground pipe work, mechanical installation, layout for tank and mechanical installation, and reading and understanding drawings with little help. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Water/Wastewater construction preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans.
• Drug-free and able to pass drug screen at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in piping installs from above ground to underground.
• Perform mechanical installation activities as directed.
• Layout for tanks and associated mechanical installations.
• Read and interpret drawings with minimal assistance.
• Read elevations to ensure proper alignment and levels.
• Operate basic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Engage in daily work planning and coordination with team.

We are seeking experienced Laborers to work in our Project located in Gainesville, FL 34212. Pay ranges from $21-$25/hr based on experience. **Local Hires Only**

As a Laborer, you will contribute to our team by:

• Experience with other skills
• Piping knowledge for installing above ground to underground pipe work
• Mechanical installation
• Layout for Tank and mechanical installation
• Knowledge in reading and understanding drawings with little help
• Knowledge in shooting elevations
• Basic operating machinery experience
• Daily work planning skills

What you will bring to this role:

• 2 years plus experience in Water and Wastewater construction preferred.
• Knowledge in different types of underground utilities install.
• Able to dig to grade.
• Ability to understand and read plans.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Drug free and able to pass a drug screen at all times.
