Main Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment, complying with safety policies and procedures, using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and MSHA regulations.
• Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor and meet project expectations.
• Repair and maintain conveyors, belts, crushers, and plants.
• Maintain grounds, fences, and related facilities.
• Operate and maintain site vehicles and equipment.
• Lift, carry, and handle materials and tools.
• Maintain tools and work areas.

Skills

Preferred experience in aggregate/asphalt manufacturing, concrete manufacturing, or construction. Knowledge of mechanical repairs and ability to operate mobile equipment such as skid steers, front-end loaders, haul trucks, and manlifts. Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions. Responsible, reliable, and dependable.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent kneeling, climbing, bending, stooping, and crawling.
• Push, carry, and lift 75 pounds or more.
• Valid NYS driver’s license.

Compensation

• $21.00-22.00 per hour
