An established industry player is seeking dedicated Utility Workers to join their Solid Waste Division. In this role, you'll engage in essential labor tasks at landfills and transfer stations, ensuring the effective operation of various tools and machinery. About the Role:
This position provides general labor at the Landfills/Transfer Stations in King County. These employees perform skilled work by safely operating power and hand tools like slope grade control lasers, power drill, power driver, chain saw, weed eater, and walk-behind-mower to perform vegetation control and minor maintenance on equipment and facilities. This is not an entry level position.
About the Team:
Get ready to work with this fun team who are action oriented and high energy! The team is challenged daily with different locations, responsibilities, and work. At any given time, you will work side by side with 2-3 members. You will have an opportunity to partner with Landfill Gas Operator and Wastewater Treatment Operator crews while picking up new skills/gaining new knowledge working closely with them. This could be a steppingstone to those positions.
