Job Overview: The Laborer is responsible for maintaining plant and crushing systems by conducting routine inspections and repairs, ensuring high uptime and minimal downtime.

Main Responsibilities

1. Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety policies and using proper tools.
2. Follow safety regulations and policies, including MSHA standards.
3. Perform assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
4. Conduct repairs and daily maintenance on conveyors, crushers, and plants.
5. Maintain grounds and site facilities.
6. Operate and maintain site machinery and vehicles.
7. Handle materials, tools, and supplies safely.
8. Keep tools and work areas organized and in good condition.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt, aggregate, concrete manufacturing, or construction preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs using industrial tools and understand mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in operating mobile equipment like skid steers, loaders, dump trucks, and lifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent kneeling, climbing, bending, stooping, and crawling.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wage: $21.00 - $23.00
