Description

General Services and the Cemetery Division of Parks and Recreation has an immediate opening for a full-time, year-round shared labor truck driver. The employee will work with a team to provide services in the City of Concord, including roads, water systems, and the City's 13 cemeteries.

Department: General Services - Highway and Utilities Division and Parks and Recreation

Work Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday, with required Overtime

Starting Hourly Range: $22.61 to $25.59 (Top of scale: $30.37)

Job Summary: Perform labor involving operating dump trucks and construction equipment for city street, water, sewer, cemetery, and park maintenance. Conditions: Work may include outdoor weather extremes, mechanical hazards, high places, chemicals, and noise. Overtime during emergencies is expected.
