Job summary

Cobalt Civil is seeking a dependable Transmission Line Drill Crew Laborer to support foundation drilling operations on transmission line and heavy civil projects. This role assists drill crews with site prep, equipment support, material handling, and general labor in outdoor construction environments.

Candidates should have some construction or heavy civil experience, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Construction or heavy civil experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Experience around drilling equipment or utility construction preferred.
• CDL or equipment operation experience a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and drilling supplies
• Perform general labor duties including digging, cleanup, and site maintenance
• Support equipment setup, mobilization, and daily maintenance
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Work closely with crew leaders and supervisors to maintain efficient operations
• Travel Monday through Friday to project sites as required

Work Environment

Outdoor construction environment with exposure to varying weather, uneven terrain, and heavy equipment. Overnight travel Monday through Friday, overtime, and occasional weekend work may be required based on project needs.
